LDS Activity Days Binder & Workbook

I got a new calling for church a few months ago.  I am an assistant leader for the Activity Day girls.  These girls are 8-11 years old.  It's such a fun age.  Even better, my 2 oldest are in it with me.

I decided that our 12 girls needed binders to help them stay organized and help them reach their Faith in God achievements.

I first put together these pages so they would have adorable printouts.
I used Digital Papers by Citrus and Mint.  I love the set from it.  Can't go wrong with Gold and pink.

Also, to help them with their goals, I got workbook pages from JustPoppie Etsy Shop.  They break down each goal so it's easier for the girls to plan and understand what to do.  I personally highly recommend this purchase!

Every printout is copied from the lds.org website.

I put the cover on the outside of the binder.  The header for each section, I put in page protectors.  The rest of them, I copied on normal paper, in black and white since it would have costed an arm and a leg.

Here are the pages I created:

I hope you love it as much as my girls and I do!  They were so excited when I gave them their binders.  They all got started on them.  Makes me happy to hear that!

You can download these pages here:

Let me know what you think!  Please share and give credit where credit is due!  I put a LOT of time to creating these so I would appreciate it!

My Memories Suite giveaway.

One of the things I love about digital scrapbooking is that I can download a picture on the computer and immediately scrapbook it!  I have done digital scrapbooking mainly through free sites, like scrapblog.com until the end of last year, when I got a photo editing program on craigslist for a killer deal.  That has helped me to get more familar how things work on the computer.  Yet the program I was using wasn't digital scrapbook friendly...BIG learning curve!

Well recently I was contacted by My Memories about their digital scrapbook software called My Memories Suite.  My fears and confusions are out the window folks.

The program is so simple.  It immediately downloads into your computer so you can access it right away.  Do you want to see what I made in 5 minutes after downloading the program?  Seriously, i'm not kidding.  This thing is so easy and user-friendly...

And this wasn't even their papers and embellishments that are found on the program!  So you can imagine how much easier and faster it would have been to make something already in the program!

Speaking of stuff, their designs are adorable and so fun to play with!
I made a chore chart recently from them just to show you that there are many things to do with their scrapbook software:

blowing a kiss valentine.

I bet you've seen this all over the net around this time of year.  I thought it was the cutest thing.
So about a week ago, I had an idea...
and I came up with this :)

It's pretty simple to make too!
I took 100s a picture of my daughter, pretending to blow a kiss...this is the best we could come up with and I think it looks darn cute!

Then in Picasa, I added Text and then printed the pics at Walmart.

Then i mounted on some white paper and stuck a hershey kiss on it!

I think I am more excited about them than my daughter...such is life :)

Linking them to the parties listed above and below!

Quick n' Easy Job Chart

So this has been in the works for sometime.  I"ve been wanting the girls to be involved with cleaning...so I don't have to do as much...cough cough
anyways, i've scowered the web for ideas.  I found some good ones but nothing that just fit for me.  So I decided to just make my own.  If it doesn't work out, oh well, i'll try something else :)
I decided to do a morning and nighttime chart.
I will be placing these in frames and then they can just a dry erase marker to check off their chores when they finish them.

Originally, I was going to stick them on magnet boards but for 4 charts, it seemed pointless and too much effort on my part.

I ordered them as 11x14 prints as costco.
I love them :)
Best part was that it was so cheap.
free Photoshop trial
free downloads (shabby princess & digital downloads)
prints came to about 2.50 each.

Speaking of organization, I want to do some sort of Reward system...any good ideas?  beans, tickets, jewels, coins etc etc?!  I would love to hear ideas!
