Pumpkin Patch...

Ok maybe i'm just retarded but I was so excited to go to the Pumpkin Patch from everyone's pictures! I couldn't wait to take the family out and run amuck amoung the pumpkins...Yet to my sad disappointment, it didn't turn out exactly how I planned...but oh well right?

We were trying to hard to get Emma to look through the hole...but with no success...

Look at all those pumpkins! So it was probably the ages of my kids since Emma doesn't do organized games at this age. She'd rather run around, do her own thing like pick up the 50 cent pumpkins and throw them all over the place, you know, stuff like that. So we bought a 50 center since we felt stupid for going and just walking around. Plus it probably wasn't good to go in the evening either...kids getting tired and all ...hopefully next year it'll be better!

HAVEN'T you figured it out yet that we only do those things for us...especially when the kids are young so its the whole point that counts and she is still way cute and hilarious...both of your kids! :)

haha. That's life with kids right? Well those holes in the pumpkin thingy were way too big anyways. Whose head is that big? l

Well at least Emma wasn't trying to stomp the "punka"!(pumpkin) Bradley tried the whole time we were there and then cried when we made him leave.

The pictures turned out so cute. It looks like Emma is trying to find Joe!

You should go to Love Creek Orchards. Have you ever been? It is so much fun for the kids and you get great pictures with farm animals and pumpkins. It is out in Medina, and you might want to take Joe along because there is a pond and Lily kept wanting to dash off for it.

I agree with Kristen, Love Creek Orhchards are a lot of fun to go to with the kiddos. You can spend the the whole day there and there's a lot to do. Just pack a lunch and head out with the family this weekend.

I feel frustrated a lot with Josh because he just doesn't like to do a lot of things that I think are fun. Seiously, what 4 year old says, "Why do I have to dress up (for halloween) mom? Can't I just stay home with dad and pass out candy?" COME ON KID!! It kills me sometimes, but it's just him and his personality. I bet if you tried again in the daytime you would get pictures like what you were probably hoping for. It still looks like you had fun though:)

That's how our pumpkin patch photos always turn out. Miles and Gray just run around and refuse to cooperate. Sorry your evening didn't turn out as planned, but the pics you got are cute. It looks like Emma had a blast.

I think Emma had a lot of fun!! What's important is that you tried it and you had a good time as a family. Things may not turn out as you plan but kids remember those little moments. Anyway, again she may be a little young, so it's true maybe next year!

I thought everything would become so fun after having a kid, but you still have to wait like 3-4 years before they get excited about stuff. I was like you, after looking at Jazmin's and Jaime's pictures I wanted to run over to the pumpkin patch with Eric, but I'm sure he would have enjoyed it much less then Emma. Well, at least you got a pumpking.

I thought maybe I should let you know how much I love the music on your blog. I log on and use it as a "workout" sound track, a "dance party" sound track and a "clean the house" sound track. So thanks!
